Manchester United have been issued a hands off warning for one of their reported transfer targets for next season.

The Red Devils have made no secret about buying a new striker after the departure of Cristiano Ronaldo in December.

Dutch striker Wout Weghorst was brought in on loan from Burnley to help carry the load in the attack.

The Manchester outfit have been linked with a move for Eintracht Frankurt and France striker Randal Kolo Muani, who has rose to fame at the 2022 FIFA World Cup.

However, Frankfur has warned any potential suitors that the French striker is not for sale in the next transfer window.

"Basically, we have no intention of selling Randal Kolo Muani after only one year with us this summer," Sporting director Markus Krosche  told Sport1.

"But the hype about him is understandable and completely fine. He deserves that after his great performances."

"We want to continue on this path with him and not necessarily sell him. Another season with us would certainly do him good."

Muani has registered an impressive 12 goals and 10 assists in 25 matches for the Bundesliga side this season.
