Kaizer Chiefs coach Arthur Zwane is a firm believer in youth promotion, with news reaching the Siya crew that another youngster looks set to be on his way to the first team.
Mduduzi Tshabalala, Wandile Duba and Nkosingiphile Ngcobo are of the players who have taken the step up to the Amakhosi senior team from the youth structures.
According to Siya sources, 20-year-old winger Donay Jansen, looks set to be in the running for a senior team contract and indications are that the attacker could likely join the side for pre-season training ahead of the new campaign.
"Coach Arthur (Zwane) and coach Vela (Khumalo) work hand in hand to look at the players who can be promoted from the Diski Challenge team to the senior team. Now they have agreed that Danoy (Jansen) can join the senior team," an insider revealed to the Siya crew.
"That's why the team will offer him a senior contract at the end of the season. When the next season is about to start, he can join the senior team for pre-season. I am not sure how long the contract will be, but normally they start with three to four years. But they want him for the senior team next season," added the source.

Jansen is a winger who can also play in defence and has been influential for the Chiefs DDC side this season and is the team's current top goalscorer.
Indications are that his promotion will give competition to Kgaogelo Sekgota and other wingers.
