Mamelodi Sundowns coach Rulani Mokwena has given an update on which players will not be available for the DStv Premiership clash against Kaizer Chiefs at FNB Stadium this weekend.

Sundowns take a 14-point lead to the Calabash and have a good opportunity to extend it, but are still without the services of midfielder Haashim Domingo, who has slowly been getting more game-time under the tutelage of Mokwena.

Domingo missed the Tshwane derby against SuperSport United on Monday and is not available for selection this weekend, according to the coach. The likes of Bongani Zungu, Rivaldo Coetzee and Terrence Mashego are alos still unavailable. Zungu and Coetzee, however, are slowly making their way back to full fitness.

"It's just the long term situation with Abdel, with Nasir and Terrence. Everyone else is slowly but surely making their way back into training. Bongani Zungu is slowly coming back into training. He is not available for match selection of course, but back into training. He is on the green pitch. Riva is on the green pitch. Haashim is not on the green pitch yet. He suffered something before the SuperSport game, so no Haashim again.

South American attacker Gaston Sirino has a slight niggle and it's unclear at this stage if he will be available for the clash.

"There's a slight niggle on Gaston. It's something he picked up against SuperSport, but it's not something big. Not too many issues, fortunately, from an injury perspective."
