A former SuperSport United midfielder who recently parted ways with the Tshwane giants could soon find a new home as AmaZulu are showing serious interest in his services.

Having failed to make a single appearance for Matsatsantsa during the 2022/23 season after he was disrupted on his progress by injury, Guily Manziba parted ways with the club for an opportunity to revive his career elsewhere.

The 26-year-old DR Congo international has impressed the French-Moroccan mentor, according to sources, and talks have been opened to potentially add him to the squad.

“As you probably know by now, Guily Manziba has parted ways with SuperSport United and is in search of a new club. He is a free agent and is set to join a club of his choice during the January transfer window and his representatives are busy with that process,” said the source.

“AmaZulu are interested in signing the player and talks have been initiated. Another club that has been keen is Stellenbosch, as well as another one from Gauteng that I cannot mention now,” the source added.
