Orlando Pirates recently secured the services of Ndumiso Mabena on a free and there are still a number of players who are waiting on the sidelines for clubs to give them an opportunity, such as Samir Nurkovic, Mthokozisi Dube, Daniel Akpeyi and Wayde Jooste.

Akpeyi is another player who has been in search of a club since leaving Kaizer Chiefs at the end of last season. The Nigerian shot-stopper was close to joining Sekhukhune United a few months ago, but the process of registering him as a local affected the move, before he went on to train with Swallows FC. He remains a free agent.
Buhle Mkhwanazi and Tebogo Langerman are other players who are available on a free transfer, but the Siya crew understands that they could bring an end to their careers.
