As the Brazilians played in the Champions League on the weekend, all eyes were on Orlando Pirates, SuperSport United and Kaizer Chiefs among others in the race for second place finish.
Pirates managed to close the gap with SuperSport to only two points after defeating them 1-0 in Orlando, while Chiefs also boosted their chances with a big 3-2 win away at Maritzburg United.
