Mkhulise has been described as one of the best midfielders in the country by coaches at Sundowns, but has not quite established himself as a player who can contribute with goals and assists on a regular basis.

He has been encouraged to get into the opposition box a lot more to get goals and assists, rather than playing it safe most of the time.

"I was to score. To try to be a starting player here, I think need to listen to the coaches. I have to work hard, I have to run, I have to score goals, I have to assist. I have to work hard, that's all. That's what they always tell us. You need to be focused all the time because whenever you get a chance, you must be ready," Mkhulise told media during a press conference held at Chloorkop on Thursday.
