Mamelodi Sundowns head coach Rulani Mokwena has hinted that a recently vacated position in the technical team could already be filled.
Sundowns parted ways with fitness and conditioning coach Riedoh Berdien and assistant goalkeeper coach Marcus Mashilo in December last year after an alleged fall out with Mokwena during their camp in Polokwane.
The young tactician subsequently confirmed the departure of the two members in his technical team and revealed that there will be further changes.

The Brazilians could already have found a replacement for Mashilo after Mokwena confirmed that veteran shot-stopper Kennedy Mweene stood in for goalkeeper coach Wendell Robinson, who was suspended against Orlando Pirates and is being trained to join the technical team.
"He's doubling up into a role we envisage for him long term for sure, but of course he's going to be doing his coaching badges very soon. He has applied for that and it's only that natural progression in life," Mokwena told the media in a press conference.
"When you move from one, particularly from playing and then you get a keen interest to be involved in coaching and Kennedy has that. He has been an incredible servant for this club, he has been extremely incredible in South African football with incredible experience.
"He has won the (CAF) Champions League, AFCON (Africa Cup of Nations with Zambia), so there's incredible benefits for the football club to inherit in a coaching capacity and so maybe fast-tracked a bit by the red card of coach Wendell for sure but the universe works in incredible ways," he revealed.

The Soweto-born mentor went on to congratulate Mweene for his first win as a goalkeeper coach, in the interim capacity.
"And God works in incredible ways by giving people opportunities even when we deem ourselves not ready but God says when I deem you ready, I choose you, you have to step up and respond to the calling," he continued.
"He did very well, congratulations to him for winning his first match on the bench as a goalkeeper coach for sure in the interim capacity and we wanna thank him for his contribution and assistance for the role that he has played," he added.
