Sundowns Confirm Deadline Day Signing

DStv Premiership champions Mamelodi Sundowns have confirmed a new signing on the final day of the transfer window.

The Brazilians have bolstered their squad with the signing of Moroccan defender Abdelmounaim Boutouil.

The 24-year-old joins the South African champions from Moroccan outfit SC Chabab Mohammedia, where he racked up 38 appearances.

"Abdelmounaim Boutouil is a Yellow," the club tweeted.

"The first Moroccan player to play in the PSL! Representing his country and the Yellow Nation.

"Welcome our new defensive rock, Abdelmounaim Boutouil.

"The Moroccan defender becomes the fifth player to join Mamelodi Sundowns after Sipho Mbule, Bongani Zungu, Marcelo Allende and Terrence Mashego."
