For the second year in a row, Peter Shalulile has maintained his position as the most valuable player in Mzansi despite some high profile arrivals in the DStv Premiership this season.
Although the likes of Bongani Zungu and Marcelo Allende have since joined Sundowns, neither of the two high-profile arrivals could topple the Namibian from the number one spot.
According to the figures derived from Transfermarkt.com, Sundowns’ Shalulile, was the most expensive player in the DStv Premiership, with a market value of €1.5 (±R25.9m).

Remarkably, the striker has seen his value increase over a period of a year which has seen his market value gain an added €500k to take it to €2 million (R35.6m)
The forward is currently working his way back from injury and is expected to be amongst six players who could make their return for the Brazilians in January.
The closest rival to Shalulile is his young South American teammate Allende who has a market value of €1.6m (R28.5m).
