The Premier Soccer League has set the record straight on the DStv Premiership badge on the Mamelodi Sundowns jersey sleeve, admitting that the confusion could have been avoided.

Over the last few days, there has been uncertainty as to why the badge on sleeve says 'DSTV Premiership champions' with the season '2022/23' below it.

"The 2022/23 (on Sundowns’ sleeve) represents the season we are currently in. But maybe it should have been positioned differently to avoid the confusion," Fhathuwani Mpfuni of the PSL said to the Siya crew.

The PSL did not want to comment further on the matter.
