Maritzburg United head coach Fadlu Davids was in no mood to talk about the penalty awarded to Kaizer Chiefs on Saturday night.

The Team of Choice fought back from two goals down to get back on level terms at 2-2, before the Soweto giants went on to a bag winner via the penalty spot in the second half.

There was a bit of drama surrounding the penalty call, as the referee had taken quite a bit of time before eventually deciding to award the penalty for Rafiq de Goede's apparent foul on Mduduzi Shabalala.

“No, I don’t want to talk about it,” Davids told SuperSport when asked about the incident.

Davids did admit that errors have been costing the Team of Choice, which was evident for Chiefs' first goal when goalkeeper Renaldo Leaner slipped.

"This critical phase of starting the game. We started very good – on the front-foot, creating opportunities and then a counter - ok the goalkeeper slipped it can happen,” Davids said.

“But these errors are what’s costing us. The fight the performance you can’t fault the players.

"They gave their all but slip in the box one side and slip in the box on the other side. It just brings you through."
