Orlando Pirates have had concerns over two stars ahead of their fixture against Stellenbosch FC this afternoon.
The Buccaneers will be aiming at winning their second match in a row when they host Stellies in Orlando, following the impressive 3-1 victory for Jose Riveiro’s side in the previous match last weekend against Golden Arrows.
The latest injury concerns for the Soweto giants have been on the duo of Miguel Timm and Bandile Shandu who were substituted against Abafana Bes’thende after picking up respective injuries.

“There were fresh injury concerns for Pirates emerging from the Arrows fixture, with Bandile Shandu and Miguel Timm withdrawn early in the contest as a precautionary measure,” stated Pirates on the club’s official website.
Meanwhile, Bucs had been boosted in their preparations during the week with the return of defender Olisa Ndah to training.
“Both players will be in a race against time to be fit for the game against Stellenbosch, while there has also been some positive news in that regard with Olisa Ndah back in training having not featured in the match day so far this year,” confirmed the club.
