Orlando Pirates are confident of causing an upset away from home against inconsistent Cape Town City in their match this weekend.
The Buccaneers will be in the Mother City for their eagerly awaited clash as both teams are keen to change their fortunes after some disappointing results in their most recent matches.

Pirates were defeated 2-0 by log leaders Mamelodi Sundowns last Friday, while the Citizens were beaten by high-flying SuperSport United at home on Tuesday.
Pirates’ assistant coach Mandla Ncikazi has pointed out what the Soweto giants will need to do to come back with three points from Cape Town.
“There’s a bit of history between Cape Town City and Pirates, Kermit (Erasmus) being there, Eric (Tinkler) having worked here, and those matches normally produce invariable results. I just want us to be in control, take care of the ball, take care of the situations that we have planned and if we do that the consequence of our planning we will get the three points,” said Ncikazi, speaking through Pirates’ media department.

“It’s a slow start, we would have loved to start differently but we have prepared well. I just wish that the team can transform our preparation this week into the match going into a very difficult territory – good team. But the capacity that I saw this week, the confidence I saw this week, take that into the match (and) we will win the match. Let’s just go to Cape Town and win the match,” the coach said.
