
Orlando Pirates look set to make a decision on the future of the one of the club's defenders, the Siya crew can reveal.
Sources have revealed that the Buccaneers look set to hold discussions on the possibility of extending the deal of left back Paseka Mako.

Indications are that the club and the player's camp are believed to enter into contract talks regarding the player's deal, which is set to expire in June this year.
Insiders have revealed that the Soweto giants have left the door open for the player to remain at the club, and it is understood that a two-years extension is on the horizon.
"Yep, his contract was coming to an end this season but the team is looking to give him a two -ear contract with a one-year option meaning can be at the club until 2026. They value his contribution. He is a different player to the most on the left. He can play as a left back or as a winger which gives the team a different dimension. The new deal is already done and he has committed himself to the team as well," the source said.

Mako, 28, is a Mamelodi Sundowns development product, and joined Pirates in 2018 from Chippa United on an initial three-years deal. He has also played for Cape Town All Stars and his versatility has proven to be is vital to the team.
