
A reported Orlando Pirates target has parted ways with his club of two years, amid talk of a possible move to the Soweto giants.
Recent reports have linked Cameroonian goalkeeper Simon Omossola with a move to Pirates, although both the PSL giants and the player’s camp have not officially communicated on the links.

Since 2020, Omossola has been on the books of Congolese giants AS Vita Club where he has been impressive and won the Goalkeeper of the Year award in the league last year.
Sources close to the Congolese outfit have confirmed to the Siya crew that the 24-year-old shot-stopper has since parted ways with the club.
“The player is free and doesn’t belong to AS Vita anymore,” confirmed the source.

“As a result, the club (AS Vita) cannot comment on anything to do with the player, including what you are enquiring about pertaining to the reported move to Orlando Pirates,” the source concluded.
