Monare has entered the last six months of his deal, as he also recently confirmed, after his contract was renewed by one year, to add to the original two-year deal signed on arrival from Bidvest Wits in 2020.
The Embalenhle-born star has made nine appearances for the season thus far.
As reported in edition 1307 of Soccer Laduma, Pirates will be expected to make a decision on Monare’s future at the end of the season.
