Soccer Laduma has been reliably informed that Stellenbosch FC defender Olwethu Makhanya is set for a European assessment in March this year.
Back in November, the Siya crew reported that Makhanya had been tied down to a new five-year (three years plus two-year option) deal by Stellies following his rapid rise at the Cape Winelands outfit.
With his stock continuing to rise, this publication has subsequently been informed that the 18-year-old is set to make his way to Europe, where he will undergo assessment with two unnamed clubs in Portugal and Netherlands.
