“We’ve got some of the best young and talented players in our academy from Under-19 age group and most players are from 14 – 17 years of age. From last year in February, we have been playing regional league football and we finished in second place on the log,” he said.

“We were supposed to win that league but tragic happened as we lost one of our boys and one day after we laid him to rest, we were playing a game. We played against Orlando Pirates’ Under-19 team and the game ended 3-3. We beat Wits 4-1, we beat Farouk Khan’s Stars of Africa 6-1, we played Sekhukhune United’s DDC (DStv Diski Challenge) team and drew 1-1, we lost to School of Excellence 5-1 and that was the only game we lost. We beat SuperSport United 2-1,” concluded Khanye.
