
Stellenbosch FC are on the verge of completing a deal for former striker Iqraam Rayners before the close of the January transfer window.
SuperSport completed the signing of Zakhele Lepasa on loan from Soweto giants Orlando Pirates and it's understood that they are open to letting Rayners go before the close of the transfer window at midnight.

Rayners joined Matsatsantsa from Stellies in 2020, but has not been really able to establish himself as a regular in the team. This season Rayners has made 14 appearances in all competitions, but is yet to find the back of the net
Stellies have already signed Andre de Jong during the January transfer window and it appears they will add Rayners to their squad as they look to avoid relegation at the end of the season.

The 27-year-old has registered four assists in all competitions for the Tshwane outfit, who are more than open to parting ways with the player, as the club feels that they have enough cover in the team to get through the rest of the season.
Rayners has only made three starts under Gavin Hunt this season, coming on 10 times as a substitute up to this point in the campaign.
