With reports coming out of England suggesting that Burnley have increased their €5 million (±R92m) offer for Bafana Bafana striker Lyle Foster, Vincent Kompany has now broken his silence on the matter.

Having made the trip to see the 22-year-old up close in Belgium this week, Kompany is understood to have been pleased with what he has seen, so much so, that he and Burnley are understood to have upped the ante in their pursuit of Foster.
The latest news coming out of England is that Burnley have now increased their initial offer from €5 million (±R92m) to a staggering €7 million (±R130m)
Considering that Westerlo paid just €1 million (±R18m) for him in July last year, the deal would see them make a significant profit on the former Orlando Pirates striker. It is also for this reason that the Belgian legend is losing no sleep over the burly forward.
“From our side there is no rush, it was an opportunity to see players. To be honest he wasn't the only player on that pitch although I understand he is the one being talked about now but there is a few more,” he told media at a press conference.
“For us, there is this season and there is next season whether we are in the Premier League, or the Championship and we need to plan ahead.
“I have been to see other games where I got away with it but not this one. In general, it is a good way to get a good look at players. It is always valuable, but it doesn't mean as much as that, we will see,” he added.
Foster has managed eight goals and three assists in 20 matches so far this season.
