News coming out of the Orlando Pirates camp is that the team looks set to hold onto one of the club's midfielders.

Indications from sources are that the Buccaneers look set to keep the door open for Kabelo Dlamini. 

Two independent sources have informed the Siya crew that the club is keen to hold onto the former Bloemfontein Celtic player beyond his current contract, which expires on 30th June.

According to insiders, contract talks are expected to take place with the 26-year-old in the coming weeks. 

"Yes, the talks are there. They are on going and its for a three-year deal. As far as I know, its not  done deal yet but the team wants to tie him down for three years until 2026. They believe that at 26 years, age is still on his side and can be of importance to the team," the source concluded.

Called for comment Pirates official Stanley 'Screamer' Tshabalala said that he was not in a position to comment. 

"Eish sorry my man. Right now I am in Durban (and) there is nothing much I can say. The people who can help me are in the office. So I will say something when the time is right," Tshabalala said.
