The 2022/23 South African season is almost done and dusted with only one official game remaining on Saturday, the Nedbank Cup final between Orlando Pirates and Sekhukhune at Loftus Stadium in Pretoria.
As they go into this game, Pirates are also thinking of next season as they may look at beefing up their squad.

Information reaching the Siya crew is that Pirates are thinking about bringing in Malawian left winger Francisco Madinga who is currently plying his trade in Botswana for Jwaneng Galaxy.
However, it's not only the Buccaneers who want the services of Madinga, as sources close to the 23-year-old player disclosed that TS Galaxy could also be monitoring his progress for some time now. Indications are that they want to bring him in too.
"It's a tricky situation as TS Galaxy wanted him even before he joined Jwaneng in January this year," the Siya source stated.
"Things were just a bit slow hence he went to Botswana. And now Orlando Pirates are also interested in him. Galaxy want him to replace Tshegofatso Nyama who will be joining Cape Town City while Pirates are looking at a Vincent Pule replacement," the source added.
Another source stated that Madinga, who once played in Georgia for Dila Gori FC, has more of a chance of joining TS Galaxy than Pirates at the moment.
"He is a talented young player who can play as a winger or as a left back," he said.
"With the Malawi national team at Afcon in Cameroon, he played as a left back and he did very well against established teams like Senegal and Morocco.
"As it stands now he has a better chance of joining TS Galaxy than Pirates but you know Pirates are a big team so anything can happen," added the source.
Contacted for comment, his representative in Malawi, Ngamanya Sapao could neither deny nor confirm interest from the two teams.
"Yes, there is interest for the player in South Africa, but for now, I don't want to say which team wants him. Remember he still has one year left with Jwaneng Galaxy in Botswana.
"But it's true a move to South Africa would make big sense for a national team player like him. But when the time is right and everything is ready I will let you know which are the teams in South Africa who are interested in him," Sapao concluded.
