In January, Orlando Pirates were believed to be keen on the services of Marumo Gallants winger Katlego Otladisa.
At the time, the Limpopo side issued a 'not for sale' sign on the player, however, sources have revealed that Gallants could now lose the 26-year-old on a free, as his contract looks set to expire at the end of the June.
"Pirates have always been interested in the player,” a source told the Siya crew.

“Even before he was signed by Mamelodi Sundowns, while at Platinum Stars some time back. Then in January this year, they approached Marumo Gallants, and were told he was not for sale because they had just lost Ndabayithethwa Phillip Ndlondlo as well.
“But now Pirates have shown interest again and from what I hear the boy hasn't signed a new contract yet. Meaning that in June when his contract expires, he would join Pirates on a free.
“They really want him as cover on the wings. They could be going to Africa next season, so they need a bigger quality squad, that's why they want to sign him.”
Another source close to the club added that a deal looks promising.
“It's has been discussed within management and the technical team has been briefed about that,” the source added.
“They are just waiting for the season to close then they will take it from there. But yes, they are interested in him."
Otladisa has featured for Platinum Stars, Cape Umoja and also Ajax Cape Town where he went on loan from Mamelodi Sundowns.
