Kaizer Chiefs will be seeking to keep their momentum in the DStv Premiership when they host in-form Stellenbosch on Saturday evening.

Chiefs kept their hopes of qualifying for the CAF Champions League alive after they won their third game in succession following a 3-2 victory over Maritzburg United prior to the FIFA break.

The Glamour Boys find themselves in fourth position on the log, just two points behind second-placed SuperSport United.

Chiefs will be without Yusuf Maart due to suspension after he picked up his fourth booking in a win over Maritzburg before the international break.

Stellies, similarly were in a good run of form before the international break, as they won their fourth game in five matches after beating AmaZulu 2-0.

The Cape Winelands outfit are bidding to finish the season in the top eight and can mathematically challenge for continental spots, currently placed eighth on the log, seven points behind Chiefs.

Stellies coach Steve Barker will also not be able to call upon midfielder Sibongiseni Mthethwa, who is suspended.

Amakhosi will be chasing a league double over Stellies after claiming a 3-1 victory in the reverse fixture.
