Filled with classics and modern hits, EA Sports has dropped the soundtrack for FIFA 23's World Cup mode.

What's the story?

As the excitement continues to build for the release of the FIFA World Cup mode on FIFA 23, EA Sports has dropped a well curated soundtrack for the tournament.

The soundtrack, released on Spotify, is a good mix of contemporary bangers and the best hits from FIFA's soundtracks of the past. 

Fans will be pleased to hear the sounds of Indie legends such as MGMT and Kasabian. 

World Cup soundtrack for FIFA 23

The World Cup game mode drops on FIFA 23 on 9 November and EA's release of the mode's soundtrack will surely wet the apatite's of the avid FIFA gaming community.

Decades of bangers compiled into a strong list of 100 songs. Fans were encouraged to send through songs they've enjoyed from previous FIFA soundtracks to create the ultimate and most timeless offering.

Artists such as the late Mac Miller, Nigerian star Burna Boy, Latino Prince J Balvin and US alternative star FKA Twigs all feature on the soundtrack. 

The FIFA community will be familiar with a lot of these tracks especially "Kids" by MGMT, "Club Foot" by Kasabian and "Alive" by Empire of the Sun. 

This eclectic list accommodates a lot music tastes and genres, it respects the Indie Rock routes of the past FIFA soundtracks and embraces contemporary offerings like Afropop, Hip-Hop, Electronic House and Drill.
