The return of MOTM items will be warmly received by the FIFA community, as they've enjoyed this promo since FUT 12!

To quickly explain MOTM cards, they are special player items in FIFA that are assigned to the highest-performing player from a certain match in a real-world football match.

EA Sports took to Twitter to share Dzeko's 88-rated card for FUT. EA has given the 36-year-old striker an plus 4 Overall-rating boost, which sets a nice precedent for other MOTM cards to come.

The FIFA community will home that EA keeps the MOTM cards coming, with plenty of in-form players such as Marcus Rashford and Antoine Griezmann putting in consistent showings for Manchester United and Atletico Madrid respectively - and both could be set for cup final appearance soon.

It's not clear what the criteria will be for a player to earn this card, but important fixtures such as cup finals and derbies could be a good way for EA Sports to keep the items rolling.
