The World Cup is already heading to the business end, with the round of 16 fixtures taking place.
This is the second World Cup running where 2014 winners Germany have failed to progress out of the group stage and it looks as though a few of their players are now set to retire, with the likes of Ilkay Gundogan and Thomas Muller having already given hints as to this.
Stalwart Joshua Kimmich has also spoken out; however, for a different reason. The Bayern Munich star has said that being ejected from this tournament was the worst day of his life and he feels as though he is heading into limbo.
Head coach Hansi Flick and his post looks to be secure, but how long will that last, only time will tell!
