The Chilean midfielder is in the final year of his contract at Chloorkop, leaving questions over what comes next for him and the Brazilians.
Allende joined Sundowns in August 2022 from Uruguayan club Montevideo City Torque.
Sundowns announced at the time that he had signed a five-year deal.
He arrived with strong numbers, having made 106 appearances for Torque, scoring 18 goals and providing 23 assists.
Since then, the 27-year-old has become an important part of the Sundowns squad.
But with his contract situation now in focus, Allende said he is taking things one season at a time.
“I have my last year here for now, and I always try to do my best until the end.
“And I’ll always do my best in whatever I do in the future, now in the present. My family gives me this idea, and I will respect it in every way,” said Allende.

His comments come as Sundowns continue to build a squad packed with talent.
The Brazilians have added Thabang Matuludi from Polokwane City, midfielder Thabo Cele and defender Deano van Rooyen to their squad.
Allende said the new players have settled in well and are ready to fight for places.
“I think everyone is coming to Sundowns. We have a very nice room. We try to integrate them in the best way possible, and I think they do it well.
“They’re ready to compete for the position, and after that the coach decides who is going to play.”
Competition at Sundowns is never easy, with the club boasting quality across the pitch.
However, Allende appears focused on the present instead of worrying too much about what happens when his deal runs out.
The midfielder has already shown his value in big moments for the Brazilians.
For now, his message is clear.
He will keep giving his best for Sundowns while his future beyond the current contract remains open.
