What do you love most about performing?
I love connecting with people and their souls, and just having fun with them. I believe that I write about their stories, so I love it when we sing our stories out loud. I love the energy that moves around the space. We make beautiful things happen – I allow them to be themselves. I love music and I love my people – we just get it.
How have things changed since Yellow: The Novel?
The wish has always been to impact people and to love them. That can never change.
Who do you make music for?
All kinds of people, especially those who relate with my journey. Those that know that as different as we can be, we are exactly the same.
