The fan favourite and multitalented singer and actress has made her fans wait for her highly anticipated single since the season end of Idols in 2015.
The song which was produced by Tshepo Gavu and written by the songstress herself Mmatema, says she was hesitant at first to write a love song, but as soon as she heard the melody she got a pen and a paper and started writing a thank you letter to God for all the love his shown not only to her but everyone around her.
Mmatema is a God-fearing woman who happens to be a musician says her genre of music is not necessarily gospel music but the gospel of God’s message through her music which you can definitely hear in this song.
The Idols runner up took a few years off to find herself, venturing into other avenues of the media industry, she showcased her acting skills in the 2017 SABC 2 drama “Bone of My Bones” as the no nonsense Thembi. Where she showcased a side of Mmatema we didn’t know of. She has also made some major moves by starting her own production & record label which she is signed to, Mmatema Moremi Media Productions.
