
Buckingham Palace has broken its silence on the explosive and emotional interview that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, had with Oprah and that first aired on Sunday evening.
In the interview, Meghan and Harry held very little back as they outlined and shared their experience with tabloid media and “the firm” - where Meghan even admitted to Oprah that at some point she considered suicide.

Here’s what Buckingham Palace had to say just two days after the interview first aired:
“The whole family is saddened to learn the full extent of how challenging the last few years have been for Harry and Meghan.
The issues raised, particularly that of race, are concerning. While some recollections may vary, they are taken very seriously and will be addressed by the family privately.
Harry, Meghan and Archie will always be much loved family members.”
