On Sunday, the annual 2021 BET Awards ceremony took place at the Microsoft Theatre in Los Angeles, California. Some of the world’s biggest stars were in attendance and the live, in-person show felt like a return to pre-pandemic norms with everyone in attendance having been vaccinated.
The ceremony was hosted by Acrimony actress Taraji P. Henson and some of the performers on the evening included Lil Nas X, H.E.R., and Cardi B - amongst others.

Cardi B also announced that she is pregnant with her second child during her live performance with Migos.
The most nominated artists of the night included Megan Thee Stallion and Da Baby - with seven nominations each. They were followed by Cardi B and Drake, who each received 5 nominations.
Megan Thee Stallion ended up being the biggest winner of the night walking away with four awards.
This year’s red carpet was on fire, and everyone showed up and showed out!
