Veteran actor, Sello Maake Ka-Ncube, has walked down the aisle before, but this time around, he says he is more content – and it’s all thanks to his new wife, Pearl.
He tells TRUELOVE: “I would say I am more content than happy. Happiness is a state of mind I am responsible for maintaining. Pearl came into my life and enhanced it. She has it in abundance. Together, we guide each other daily to the fountain of joy that never dries out.”

The star says what he enjoys most about being married to Pearl is the level of commitment they have towards each other.
“What I enjoy most about being married to Pearl is the commitment we made that we will bring the best out of each other – be it in business or pleasure. We are all about building each other up to be the best versions of ourselves. We recognise that we are imperfect beings striving to carve a good life together.”
Their strong bond was formed when they started working together and actually realised that they could be more than that and could live together, which they subsequently did after tying the knot. “She knew, more than I did, that we were meant for each other,” he explains.
He reveals that although he has fathered children in his previous relationships, he plans on having more children with Pearl, who has agreed to bear him a child.

“After having had children in my previous unsuccessful relationships, Pearl has offered to grant me my desire to have a child in wedlock. I will tell you the full story about our discussion in my book,” says the actor.
Pearl adds that she loves everything about Sello. She explains that he is gentle and she loves the fact that he respects their marriage.
“What’s there not to love about this gentle giant? I saw myself in his vision and more importantly, I love how he loves and respects our union. I didn’t know I was incomplete untilI met him. From the first day I laid my eyes on him, I saw my husband and not what people typically see in him. Strange but so true, it’s one of those things you just can’t explain,” she says.
