Natasha Thahane and Amanda Du Pont are among the stars to ditch the hair straighteners and rock their beautiful wave.
Whether you want to curl your straight hair or simply enhance natural coils, founder and hair stylist at Limoz Logli Hair & Beauty, Limoz Logli, has some helpful ideas on where to start.
First of all, he would recommend washing the hair with shampoo for Magnificent Volume for at least one minute, before following with a conditioner.
Try not to apply too much conditioner to your hair as this will make your hair soft and make the curls drop out quicker.
Next, begin to towel dry your hair and then spritz a heat protection spray through the lengths before blow-drying.
Once you've started to blow-dry, it is best to avoid brushing the hair as this can pull your strands down and take away all of the natural volume. Then, to achieve polished curls, take a small pair of curling tongs and divide the hair into small sections.
When using the tongs, make sure to hold vertically, as this will give you that tight curl effect.
Start from the nape of the neck and work your way up, making sure one section is in and one is out, this will give you more volume and add dimension to your hair, giving you that big hair look!
Once you have completed tonging your hair, allow it to set for a couple of minutes. Finally, look to mess up the finished look a little by gently applying a little texturising product to the tresses.
