The former First Lady of the United States, Michelle Obama announced that she's launching a new children's cooking show on Netflix.

Titled Waffles+Mochi, Mrs Obama will be hosting the show with two puppets named Waffles and Mochi. According to Washington Post, the show is a result of a production deal between Netflix and the production company, Higher Ground Productions which she founded with her husband Barack Obama.

In a Twitter post, Michelle revealed that the show would be airing in March.

“I’m beyond thrilled to share that on March 16, I’ll be launching a new show on  @Netflix called Waffles + Mochi! I'm excited for families and children everywhere to join us on our adventures as we discover, cook, and eat delicious food from all over the world,” she wrote.

She also revealed that she hoped the show would help kids build healthier eating habits.

“I’m also excited to work with  @PHAnews to help kids build healthy habits and help families in need cook with fresh ingredients together at home. I hope you'll join us by watching on March 16! #WafflesAndMochi.”
