It’s nothing like in the movies
You probably watched a lot of movies with sex scenes prior to the “big day” to prepare yourself. The characters often appear comfortable and sure of what they’re doing. But, it’s not like that at all in reality. Having sex for the first time can be very awkward.
You won’t have a blood river
Some people make it look like popping your cherry means the blood flood gates will be open. This is far from the truth. If you do bleed, it won’t be that much. Some women don’t even bleed at all.
Don’t miss the foreplay
Being intimate for the first time is nerve wrecking so you just wanted to get it over and done with so foreplay was a definite no-no. If you hadn’t missed this step, the experience could have been much more pleasurable and less painful.
You need to reach orgasm
Orgasm, what orgasm? You probably didn’t even know if anything of the sort existed. Chances are you’ll be too uncomfortable to orgasm during your first time, but it gets better with time.
Less expectations
It’s always best to start your sex life with someone you love and feel emotionally connected. But, what they don’t tell you is that giving it up doesn’t mean you’re going to spend the rest of your life with the guy.
It scares everyone
No it’s not just you, everyone who’s gone through it was nervous, be it a man or woman. Regardless of how they might appear confident, they still had their heart pumping very fast.
It won’t be the best you’ve ever had
Never mind the fact that it’s not going to the best sex you’ll have, it’ll make you question why people actually have sex because first times are often terrible.
