The most prestigious film festival has once again claimed its space in the global news cycle.
Comparable to the Venice Film Festival and the like, the 2023 Cannes Film Festival is underway in it's namesake city in France.
According to Vogue, the festival premieres and screens some of the most-discussed films of the year - in addition to being the platform for some historic fashion moments.
In a marriage of glamour, a celebration of film excellence and star-studded appearances - the whose who's returned to this annual premiere festival in the finest threads.
The larger-than-life-red carpet has seen some of the most elegant and refined looks from celebrities and models around the world.
As it has been the case in recent years, there is always a handful of celeb looks that claim viral status. This red carpet was no different. Among the widely shared images was that of EGOT winner Viola Davis who stunned in a Valentino white gown paired with a feather coat and topped off with a glorious afro.
