Few can deny the impact former Miss South Africa Shudufhadzo Musida has had on young Black women since claiming the title in 2020.

From being the first bald woman to win Miss SA and representing the country at Miss World 2022 to wholeheartedly advocating for mental health, Shudu’s reign lives on through her inspiring determination as the voice of a generation.

Since becoming a local favourite and exploding onto the international scene, the 26-year-old pageant queen has not only made a name for herself as an up-and-coming style icon, representing brands and appearing on shows including Homegrown Tastes South Africa, but she’s also a published author and has proven herself to be an inspiring activist.
