RISING amapiano sensation Tebogo G Mashego (22) is making waves in the music scene.
He is cooking up a fresh project with a powerful and inspiring message for young women.
The Biri Marung hitmaker told Daily Sun his upcoming project aims to inspire young women to prioritise self-care and personal well-being.
"I am busy with a new project about advising young girls to take care of themselves," the talented musician revealed during an exclusive interview.
Looking back at his journey, Tebogo beamed with pride.
"I feel happy because the prayer I am praying gives me too much strength. This game wants you to focus and leave the gossip behind."
The Tshwane-based artist started by recording videos in his bedroom and has come a long way since those humble beginnings.
His meteoric rise to fame began when his tracks gained massive traction on TikTok, catapulting him into the spotlight.
Biri Marung has become an anthem in the amapiano scene, featuring collaborations with industry heavyweights like Mr Pilato, Ego Slimflow, Sje Konka, and Focalistic.

He's also worked alongside amapiano kingpins DJ Maphorisa, Scotts Maphuma, and CowBoii, solidifying his position in the industry.
Tebogo had already made waves with his single Kunyeke, featuring Darling The Pandemic, which showcased his distinctive sound and talent for creating infectious beats before Biri Marung's massive success.
Despite his growing fame, Tebogo remains grounded, crediting his mum as his biggest supporter.
"I work hard because I want to buy my mum a house so she and my sister can live comfortably. My mum is happy with my progress because she can see things are happening."
Tebogo revealed that his mum wasn't always convinced about his music career.
"When I started, she did not understand, but now she sees movement. From the start, she told me to push myself, finish school, and look for something that would keep me going and forget about the streets," he said.
