BIG BROTHERMZANSI Season 5-winner Sweet Guluva is proving that he's more than just a reality TV star.
He's stepping into the music industry with fire and confidence.
The 22-year-old TV star, whose real name is Akhonamathemba Mbele-Zwane, hails from Nquthu in KZN.
He captured the hearts of Mzansi with his charisma and authenticity during Big Brother Mzansi's Umlilo Season.
Now, he's setting the music scene ablaze with his debut single Sweet Guluva, a collaboration with none other than DJ Zinhle.
Speaking to Daily Sun, Sweet Guluva said music has always been his first love even before the fame, football, or reality TV.
"People don't realise this, but before I even kicked a soccer ball or got into reality TV, my dream was to become a musician. It's a privilege to see that dream finally coming true. From here on, I know I can reach great heights," he said.
He said during his time in the Big Brother house, he often spoke about his love for music, and it wasn't just talk.

"People used to hear me say I wanted to sing, and now I'm doing it. Being an artist means being able to rap, sing or flow on any beat, be it amapiano, house, or hip-hop. It's all about adapting and self-expression," he said.
Sweet Guluva's energetic personality, smooth flow, and catchy lyrics are already winning over fans online, and he says this is only the beginning.
"There's a lot of music coming. I don't want to say much, but I can promise you, it's going to be worth the wait," he said.
Sweet Guluva hopes to use his platform not only to entertain but inspire other young people from small towns to dream big.
From reality TV champion to rising music star, Sweet Guluva is showing Mzansi that his fire is just getting started.
