WHILE many young people get married, some marriages do not seem to last long.
However, legendary Mzansi Maskandi singer Bheki Ngcobo (65) and his wife, Linah Ngcobo (61), have shared the secret behind their long and enduring marriage.
Bheki, popularly known as Ihhashi Elimhlophe, is a renowned Maskandi artist who was awarded a Lifetime Achievement Award at the South African Music Awards in 2019 for his contribution to South African music, including his distinctive 14-string guitar skills.
His wife, Linah, is a former pop star-turned-pastor.
The couple also appears in Ofuze, a reality show on Mzansi Magic that highlights their family life and values.
Married for over 40 years, the couple is renowned for its enduring and strong partnership.
They have supported each other throughout their careers, with Linah being a pillar of support during Bheki's rise to fame.

They often perform together, and their kids have also built careers in the entertainment industry.
Speaking to Daily Sun, the couple said its strong relationship with God has been the foundation of their marriage.
"God, God, God, we took the name of God seriously and believe in the Constitution and made the word of God our constitution. So, no one is bigger than the Constitution. God is bigger than us," said Linah.
She added that God, as the creator of everything, has the answers to every challenge.
"Even our kids, when they go through challenges, they come to us and say whatever, and we tell them to them to kneel down together and pray, give it all to the Lord because He's the one who knows your tomorrow."
The couple also said when conflict arises in their marriage, they turn to prayer and forgiveness.
"If someone is wrong, I'm the wrong one, and must ask for forgiveness, and the word of God says, you must forgive and keep forgiving."
