NSIMBINI lifestyle Lounge in KwaMakhutha, south of Durban, was left disappointed at the weekend.

This as the lounge had invited Big Nuz to perform on Sunday, 18 December, but the band did not pitch.

As a result, event organisers had to pay pack the patrons and issue a statement, apologising for the inconvenience.

In a statement, Nsimbini wrote: "Dear customers. We apologise for yesterday's inconvenience of the artists we had booked not showing up. It is not up to us to make sure artists arrive. We can only pay them and await their arrival. There was a bit of a mishap after the artists did not arrive, however, we were able to refund the people who were still in the venue in order to restore trust in the business. We promise that a situation like this won't repeat itself in the future. We look forward to seeing you all in continuance of the festive season. Siyaxolisa, we are sorry - the situation was beyond our control."

Although people were not impressed, they accepted the apology.

Nombuso Mthuntutho wrote: "Apology accepted. We understand it was not your fault."

Then Mthoko Madlala commented: "What is wrong with artists? When they don't get bookings, they start complaining."

Linda Dlamini added: "A lesson to rather put your faith in local DJs and entertainers. They do a much better job any way. Big-name artists are overrated and disappoint like this at this time of year. They accept multiple bookings at different venues out of greed, knowing very well that they won't be able to fulfil all their commitments."

Daily Sun tried to reach out to Danger from Big Nuz, but he failed to answer the phone.
