Chibuzor made a brief appearance in the Kempton Park Magistrates Court on Tuesday, 27 October, and appeared visibly emotional during the proceedings.
The state added charges relating to sections 49(14) and 49(1)(a) of the Immigration Act, as well as fraud.
The state prosecutor also informed the court that forgery had been added to the charges.
The matter was postponed to Monday, 2 November, for a bail application after his lawyer asked for more time to consult with him.
Chibuzor remains behind bars.
His latest appearance follows his previous court appearance on 19 October, when the court heard that his immigration status was still undergoing verification.

The state alleged that Chibuzor had previously applied for asylum but later withdrew the application.
His case is separated from those of his co-accused, Stephen Mahlakwane Sekhukhune and Danial Anthony Moat.
The trio is accused of offences linked to the alleged theft and resale of Tsontso’s Garmin Venu smartwatch.
The state alleges that Chibuzor acquired the device for R900 from an unidentified person before selling it to Sekhukhune.
Sekhukhune allegedly sold the watch to Moat for R4 000. Moat then advertised it on social media and allegedly sold it to someone else for the same price.
Sekhukhune and Moat were each granted R10 000 bail, while Chibuzor remains in custody.
Tsontso (38) was last seen on 9 September after leaving her home for a run. Her body was discovered in Rhodesfield, Ekurhuleni, on 12 September.
The trio has not been charged with her murder. The allegations against them have yet to be proven in court.
