HE hasn't been on TV for a while, but that doesn't mean he isn't working.
Actor and filmmaker Jafta Mamabolo is working on his projects behind the scenes.
The 36-year-old from Limpopo told the Daily Sun that his fans shouldn't think he has quit acting.
Jafta started acting at a very young age.
He became famous at age 11 when he landed a prime role on Soul Buddyz, the most-watched youth programme in Mzansi.
The actor is best known for his roles in popular films such as Freedom, Gangster's Paradise: Jerusalema and Otelo Burning.
He told the Daily Sun that there haven't been acting gigs he believes in, and acts when he feels like it.
"I still act, but I've been fortunate enough that I act when I feel like it. I primarily just want to do work that I really believe in. That's why in the last decade, I've only done two projects and those were projects I really liked, but I still act," he said.

Jafta said he would still act if someone came up.
"I will act again if I find the right script and the right character that speaks to me. I will just be into it," he said.
The actor said that he is currently working on his own things.
"I have a documentary series in pre-production for a major streamer. This is the same streamer that produced Senzo Meyiwa's documentary series. I have a film and a couple of series that are currently developing, so I'm hoping those will go into production this year if not early next year."
Jafta said being in the industry for 25 years has taught him a lot.
"Patience is the name of the game. There's a saying they like saying on set called hurry up and wait. It means you must always be prepared regardless of what the opportunity is that you are trying to go after.
"You always make sure that you are prepared so that when it meets you, you are ready," he said.
