Fans started reacting soon after the selfies started making rounds on social media and others praised him for being brave enough and not refusing to take selfies.
"Meet Shebe. The only artist who gets in an accident and then gets out and take selfies with fans, salute," said a fan.
Another fan, Matsimela Ledwaba, took selfies with him and posted them on Facebook with the caption: "Don't insult me. I'm not celebrating his downfall. I love him and this was my only chance."
Lindiwe Molonyanya said: "We are happy that you are still alive. God will give you power and you will buy another one."
Shebeshxt went live on his Facebook account and let the masses know that he was still around and ok.
However, others argued that the fans should have left him to deal with the trauma and distress instead of asking for selfies.
Shebeshxt was involved in a car accident in Polokwane on Tuesday, 30 January where he sustained minor injuries.
The SunTeam contacted Shebeshxt manager, Kholofelo Mawifelena for her reactions and she said: "No, no comment,"
