THE People's Theatre in Braamfontein, Joburg, is closing the year with a bang.
It will be hosting its fourth and final production for the year, titled Disney's The Little Mermaid Jr, to play on stage from Tuesday, 8 November to 24 December.
The production is determined to bring families great entertainment over the festive season and end the year off in a fun way.
Families can look forward to a jam-packed production of The Little MermaidJr as it flows seamlessly between land and sea, ensuring a visual, musical treat that would be exciting.

Director Jill Girard said though it had been a roller-coaster year, they were excited to be bringing in a production that would make the audience happy.
"What a whirlwind of a year it has been! Reopening the theatre brought with it many changes and challenges but at the same time, we've also enjoyed many successes with old and new faces gracing our auditorium and stage. We're delighted to be bringing our audiences this crowd favourite," she said.
She said that people should come and enjoy the under-the-sea live performance at the theatre.
"Come and take a journey under the sea in a magical kingdom below with Ariel and her aquatic friends in Disney's The Little Mermaid Jr. This adaptation from Disney's Broadway production promises to bring well-loved characters to life in a spectacular end-of-year production," she said.

The Little Mermaid Jr has musical staging by Ian Mills and set design by Grant Knottenbelt.
