THUSO Mbedu has shared the first look of her first comic book.
In December, it was announced that she was going into comics and would be working on an Afro-fantasy series with Stranger Comics called Niobe: She-Tribe.
Thuso took to Instagram to share the first art cover for the episode, which she also co-wrote. The actress said she's excited that it's finally happening.

"The official @strangercomics x Thuso Mbedu collab episode cover art print is out! I'm soo excited! It's real! It's happening!" she wrote.
When making the announcement about Tales of Asunda in December, Thuso said she had wanted to work on a comic and a anime and it finally happened.
"At some point this year I remember sitting in my apartment thinking: 'Working on a comic and working towards an anime is a must-happen for me. In this lifetime. It will be a lot of hard work, but it will be worth it' and then @strangercomics happened. Those who know, know that this is a HUUUUUUGE deal for me," she wrote.
Thuso is co-writing the comic alongside popular comic writer, Sebastian A Jones, who is the owner and president of Stranger Comics.
"Can't wait to learn, grow and create in this space with @sebastian.a.jones," she wrote in her post.
