SOUTH African comedian and actor, Ebenhaezer Dibakwane, has bagged a role in the movie Fathers Matter.
The movie will be broadcast on Saturday, 17 September on SABC2, which will launch a series of movies in partnership with Heartlines this month.
The 28-year-old comedian shared with Daily Sun that this movie speaks more to present fathers and mothers.
It will also share that a father who is present physically is more needed than a father who is only present financially.

"This film speaks more about present fathers. I don't want to break or discredit core beliefs, but the film will show viewers that fatherhood is not all about money and that fathers are more needed physically than financially," he said.
Ebenhaezer also mentioned that the character he's playing connects with him, as he has experienced what the character is going through by being a father figure to his nephew.
"So, I play the role of Ayize who is a kasi boy and a painter who desires to be a man who can provide for his daughter financially, but feels that since he can't provide financially, he would have to distance himself from her.

"I felt a connection to this character, as I am a father to my nephew and there were times where I couldn't provide for him financially. When he wanted me to do something for him I couldn't, because I didn't have the money I'd feel ashamed. So that's how the character Ayize is feeling when he can't provide for his daughter," he said.
Ebenhaezer from Mbombela, Mpumalanga added that he's honoured and proud to spread a strong, powerful message about the importance of fatherhood and educate society about the need of present fathers.
