THE daughter-in-law of Shauwn "Mam'Mkhize" Mkhize from Durban, Tamia Mpisane, makes her first appearance in the much anticipated second season of Kwa Mam' Mkhize.

The reality show will air on Showmax from Monday, 14 December, with new episodes every Thursday.

The second season will also feature the lives of Mam'Mkhize's kids - Sbahle Mpisane and Andile Mpisane.

Tamia is married to Andile, who is chairman of the DStv football club, Royal AM.

Tamia said she's really looking forward to the show with her family.

"I'm nervous about the journey and everything that comes with it, but with the support of my husband and family everything has gone smoothly.

"Filming is no joke. You have to be very disciplined during filming. You have to be on time and leave when you are done. When I started, I thought it was going to be a walk in the park, but yes, it is a lot of work. When you get up, you have the people with the cameras in front of you and there's nothing you can't do because that's what you signed up for," Tamia said.

"On social media, people often say I don't speak because I'm usually reserved, so they should watch the show and see me speak. People will see the real me in my element.

"Being a mum has changed me in many ways. I've always been a nurturer. But after having children, that part of me has blossomed even more. I've become so protective. I honestly love this journey. When you have kids, something changes in you and you can never be the same," Tamia said.

She said that her kids will also appear on the show, but in a very controlled environment because people can be so cruel.

"Like I said, I'm a very protective mum and my kids' wellbeing is the most important thing to me," she said.
